True For Me is a video collaboration with Dublin poet Pat Ingoldsby.

The film aims to visualise one of Pat's favourites poems in a way that complements the words and spirit of the poem and to bring Pat's poetry to a wider audience.

“Having photographed Pat in 1999 for his book cover Beautiful Cracked Eyes I wanted to make a short film for one of his poems.

We discussed which of his poems were his favourites and the two poems he mentioned were True For Me and Vagina in the Vatican. I decided True For Me would be easier to shoot”.
